ABOUT THIS ALBUM

I’ve always considered myself a seeker…
New & Redux brings together songs from across a lifetime of songwriting—some newly created, others revisited and reimagined. Each piece reflects a different moment, a different question, yet together they form a single arc:
a search for meaning through music.

Like two of my passions—world travel and the game of soccer—the journey is rarely linear. There are long stretches without resolution, unexpected turns, and brief moments where everything connects, only to shift again.

Within it all, Spirit moving —
a presence, the Light. Mystery and Silence.

Blending influences from rock, global traditions, jazz or folk, the album weaves together instruments gathered through years of travel, including mbira, Djembe and charango. The music moves across styles while holding a consistent voice shaped by experience, curiosity, and a deep respect for storytelling.

With contributions from a wide circle of gifted musicians, the songs range from rhythm-driven textures inspired by African guitar traditions to Andean folk colors, gospel-inflected passages, and intimate ballads—tracing a wide emotional landscape.

The subtitle, Tales From a Reluctant Mystic’s Notebook, reflects the spirit of the work: a journey marked as much by uncertainty as by insight.

These are not final answers.
They are moments of discovery—
fragments of a path still unfolding.
